Vindelfjällen Nature Reserve is perfect for mountain biking. There are excellent trails to ride on, surrounded by outstanding nature, and you can stay in the village with all its conveniences, making Ammarnäs one of the best places for mountain biking.
Most of the time, the larger trails are the best choice, as they don't damage the environment while allowing you to maintain a good pace without obstacles in the way. Perhaps you choose to use a larger trail and then take a detour on a truly challenging section.
Even our nearby trails work well for cycling as long as it's not too wet. We take care of our hiking trails and don't want them to be damaged by bikes, so always check with us at Guidecenter before you set out.
Our guide André is an elite athlete and can guide most people at the level they desire. Our guided bike tours primarily take place on the larger trails in the nature reserve and sometimes in other areas when guests have specific requests.
In addition to an excellent guide, you get to experience the breathtaking nature that Vindelfjällen has to offer. Crystal-clear air, vast expanses, and a delightful challenge for the body.
Our advice is not to challenge André as he has an unpleasant habit of winning. :)
